We Care, We Listen and We Deliver

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of integrated mental and physical healthcare services, and specialist learning disability services predominantly delivered in the community.  We employ over 3,000 dedicated staff and have an annual income of around £150 million. We serve a growing and diverse population of 600,000 people across urban and rural settings. The current COVID-19 crisis has heightened the critical nature of the services we provide, and our workforce are demonstrating resilience, creativity, and commitment to meet our population's needs both during and in the aftermath of the pandemic.

The appointment of our new Director of Finance, Contracting and Estates comes at a time of transformational change for the Trust as we seek further integration opportunities with the health and care systems in which we are a key partner.  It follows the exciting appointment of Therese Patten who joins in September as our new Chief Executive.  The Director of Finance, Contracting and Estates has a broad portfolio; critical to continuing our 'Care Trust Way' approach which is underpinned by strong quality improvement methodology.  With responsibility for ensuring a sustainable financial framework, they will work collaboratively with commissioners to ensure our contracts enable the Trust's aims to be engaged at the heart of our communities to improve lives together.

We are seeking a transformational Finance leader operating at or close to Board level who role models our values and culture and is a champion for promoting diversity and inclusion.  With a transparent leadership style, you will empower our capable Finance and Estates teams, work effectively as part of a dynamic Executive team and partner with our dedicated staff, our service users, carers, Governors and our wider stakeholders to support delivery of our strategy ‘Better Lives, Together.’ If you share our values and will thrive in a broad leadership position in a high performing and progressive organisation and health and care system, then we would love to hear from you.
