Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of integrated mental and physical healthcare services, and specialist learning disability services predominantly delivered in the community. We employ over 3,000 dedicated staff and have an annual income of around £150 million. We serve a growing and diverse population of 600,000 people across both urban and rural settings. The current COVID-19 crisis has heightened the critical nature of the services we provide, and our workforce are demonstrating resilience, creativity, commitment and determination to meet the needs of our population both during and in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Our Chief Executive is returning to a role in his native North East, so at this dynamic period of change in the delivery of health and social care we are seeking a new Chief Executive who lives our ‘Care Trust Way’ approach and wishes to deliver care closer to home. Recognised in our wider health and care systems as a creative partner, we are working in the heart of our communities giving us the opportunity to shape pathways and configure services delivered beyond our organisation’s boundaries. Our workforce is positive and open to new ways of working, and our culture is underpinned by a strong quality improvement methodology and frameworks of accountability, supported by a forward-thinking Board. We are therefore seeking a Chief Executive who will drive forward our successful integration and transformation work with local partners in Bradford, Airedale, Craven and Wharfdale and via the wider West Yorkshire & Harrogate Partnership.
We are seeking a transformational leader who brings a solid understanding of our wide range of services and a passion for delivering high quality healthcare. Offering a transparent leadership style, you will inspire, involve and empower a committed Executive team, our dedicated staff, our service users, carers, Governors and our partners as we seek to deliver our strategy ‘Better Lives, Together.’ If you share our values and will thrive in a broad leadership position in a high performing and progressive organisation and in an engaged health care system, then we would love to hear from you.
